Work-Based learning engages our participants by helping them acquire work-relevant skills and experiencing realistic work or simulated perceptible situations through integrated community settings. Through this experience, the customer explores essential and practical workplace skills to strengthen their abilities and discover career paths. The training activities are coordinated with the participant’s interests by identifying potential role-models to connect them with the participants to observe and undertake work assignments and assess their interests, aptitudes, and support needs. This work experience allows the participant to explore careers and understand work’s nature through first-hand exposure to the workplace.
